The Obama-era Democrats don’t seem to get that the American people are over their policies and politics.
In November, the people spoke and rejected the Obamacrats in an historic election that saw the anointed one lose in epic fashion, yet they still haven’t gotten the hint that eight years of doom, gloom, and a poor economy were about all we could take. Now, rising from the ashes of the Democrat Party like a Phoenix, Eric Holder thinks he’s going to be the one to resurrect the party’s hopes in 2020, the Daily Caller reported.
“Up to now, I have been more behind-the-scenes. But that’s about to change. I have a certain status as the former attorney general. A certain familiarity as the first African-American attorney general,” Holder told Yahoo News. “There’s a justified perception that I’m close to President Obama. So I want to use whatever skills I have, whatever notoriety I have, to be effective in opposing things that are, at the end of the day, just bad for the country.”
Holder, who served as an activist attorney general under Obama, has been hard at work “resisting” everything President Trump has been trying to do. In fact, he’s been hired by the State of California as a consultant in the fight against the President’s agenda, leaving taxpayers with a $25,000 a month bill.
After Hillary had her ass handed to her by President Trump, Holder decided he wasn’t going to go away quietly, he said.
“I thought, frankly, along with everybody else, that after the election, with Hillary Clinton as president, I could walk off the field,” explained Holder. “So when she didn’t win, I thought, ‘We’ll have to see how this plays out.’ But it became clear relatively soon — and certainly sooner than I expected — that I had to get back on the field and be in effective opposition.”
The only good thing that could come from this is the Democrat field is already growing large, with numerous people eying a run in 2020, which means the primaries would be absolutely brutal. So by all means, go for it!
We’ll let you people keep tearing yourselves apart.
