The hysteria surrounding President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia seems to never end.
Ever since Hillary Clinton was rejected harder than a 50-year-old virgin at a strip club, all we’ve heard from the left is The Russians!™ in an attempt to deflect from the actual reason Hillary lost – she sucked. But amid the faux outrage over non-existent links between the Trump team and Russia, much more serious, and demonstrably true, crimes against the country were committed by his predecessor, and nobody seems to want to talk about them.
For starters, we have the fact that the Obama administration appears to have illegally spied on the Trump campaign during the election in what would be the most egregious case of political espionage our nation has ever seen. In fact, if the case is pursued, the facts would make Watergate seem like a kid shoplifting a pack of gum in comparison as Obama officials abused their authority by lying to the FISA court to run surveillance on American citizens, which is a horrible violation of our Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights.
While the media and Democrats alike do whatever they can to cover up the truth over the incident, a lawsuit was just filed against former FBI Director Comey for suppressing evidence given to him by whistleblower Dennis Montgomery that proved our intelligence agencies were politicized. Domestic spying for political purposes is bad enough, but that’s seriously not even the worst act Obama committed during his last months in office.
On Wednesday, news broke that the Obama regime actively suppressed intelligence that exposed Iran’s attempts to hack government officials while Obama was feverishly working to get the infamous nuclear deal with them signed. The Free Beacon reported that Iran hacked State Department emails and social media accounts in the fall of 2015, while the nation was securing a deal that numerous experts believe will lead to their nuclear proliferation.
State Department officials determined that Iran hacked their emails and social media accounts during a particularly sensitive week for the nuclear deal in the fall of 2015, according to multiple sources familiar with the details of the cyber-attack.
The attack took place within days of the deal overcoming opposition in Congress in late September that year. That same week, Iranian officials and negotiators for the United States and other world powers were beginning the process of hashing out a series of agreements allowing Tehran to meet previously determined implementation deadlines.
Critics regard these agreements as “secret side deals” and “loopholes” initially disclosed only to Congress.
Apparently foreign nations meddling in our affairs only matters when Democrats lose elections. But it gets worse, if you can believe it.
Despite the Obama administration knowing that Iran was actively hacking our officials in government, Obama still went through with giving the nation literally billions of dollars as a part of the horrible nuclear deal forced through by the former White House resident. A September report from the Free Beacon revealed that what was initially thought to be around $1 billion dollars flown into the country in cash, actually turned out to be north of $33 BILLION in cash, gold, and other precious metals.
In total, “Iran may have received as much as $33.6 billion in cash or in gold and other precious metals,” Dubowitz disclosed.
New questions about these payments are emerging following confirmation from top Obama administration officials on Thursday that it was forced to pay Iran $1.7 billion in cash prior to the release of several U.S. hostages earlier this year. The administration insisted that cash had to be used for this payment.
Unfortunately, these three scandals are merely the tip of the iceberg for the most corrupt administration in American history. However, the media insists on reporting about alleged Russian interference in the election rather than what appear to be obvious cases of treason and espionage from the former administration.
All we can hope is that with a new FBI Director comes a renewed vigor in pursuing the law and ensuring it’s equally applied to everyone, regardless of their political affiliation. Otherwise, our republic as we knew it is dead, and we’ll have officially become the kleptocracy we all warned was coming.
