It’s been a rough year for Democrats, between losing the election and since being rejected by the voters five more times, but things are about to get a whole lot worse, if rumors swirling around Washington, D.C. prove to be true.
One of the President’s biggest achievements thus far in his first term has been the appointment of Justice Neil Gorsuch to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court. In his first dissenting opinion, Gorsuch channeled his inner-Scalia and made an astute argument for why it’s not up to the courts to create legislation, putting to rest the worry some had that he may change his stripes once he put on his robe and proving President Trump has reshaped the Court for generations to come.
Gorsuch's 1st dissent:

But as it turns out, the President may soon get the chance to fill yet another vacancy. In fact, rumors have been widely circulating around Washington that Justice Anthony Kennedy is set to retire…and soon.
Well, if MSNBC’s Chris Hayes is to be believed, Kennedy will be announcing his resignation on Monday.
That’s gonna leave a mark on the left.
Just a reminder: there's a chance Kennedy announces his retirement on Monday, paving the way for the end of Roe.

It’s not just Hayes who’s heard this either.
this rumor has been circulating for hours on many outlets. Hannity mentioned it today. It's for sure. #JusticeKennedy to retire.

RUMOR: JUSTICE KENNEDY RETIRING NEXT WEEK
— Mike Cernovich (@Cernovich) June 20, 2017
Yikes. If you thought the petulance from the left was bad now, just wait and see how they react if the President gets another nomination to the Supreme Court so soon, especially since there’s not a damn thing Democrats can do to block their confirmation after Senate Republicans were forced to change the rules due to their unwarranted obstruction.
So while the left may have celebrated the Ninth Circus and other activist courts ruling against President Trump over his travel ban, it looks like the President is about to secure a major win in the long game. That’s not to mention, Kennedy hasn’t exactly been a reliable conservative vote, so should he retire, his replacement will likely be more aligned with Gorsuch than anyone else, which means we’ll all be able to rest much easier knowing there’s a solid 5-4 conservative majority.
