During a joint interview with the president of Spain last Sunday, Obama made an utterly disturbing demand of police, and it was right after five officers were murdered by a racist black man in Texas.
Obama was asked about the violence against police in Dallas, and like the true race-baiting moron he is, he demanded that police organizations admit they have an issue with racism and brutality. Of course, there was also no mention of people showing more respect for police when they interact with them, but what should we expect from a community agitator?
“There are legitimate issues that have been raised, and there’s data and evidence to back up the concerns that are being expressed by these protesters.
“And if police organizations and departments acknowledge that there’s a problem and there’s an issue, then that, too, is going to contribute to real solutions. And, as I said yesterday, that is what’s going to ultimately help make the job of being a cop a lot safer. It is in the interest of police officers that their communities trust them and that the kind of rancor and suspicion that exists right now is alleviated.”
Isn’t that just lovely? Granted, at the time he had no idea that a lone racist black man was going to ambush and gun down three cops in Baton Rouge, but that’s not the point. The point is that he shouldn’t be inciting anti-cop hatred with his reckless comments.
While we’ll never know if Obama’s comments last Sunday played into Baton Rouge, we shouldn’t rule out the possibility either. It’s time for President Stompy Feet to start acting more responsibly and try to unite the country rather than continue with his divisive rhetoric.
