Yesterday, during an historic vote in which Vice President Mike Pence cast the tie-breaker, Betsy DeVos was confirmed as the nation’s education secretary.
To the average, relatively informed person DeVos is a great pick for the position as she favors school choice along with getting the federal government’s grubby mitts out of education and leaving it to the states, as was intended by our Constitution. However, the left is having a complete meltdown over her appointment to the position and it all boils down to one issue – teachers unions.
Dems are pro-choice if you choose to abort your kids, but oppose your right to choose where they go to school.

DeVos is no friend of the unions as she sees them as one of the biggest problems with our education system, which poses a major threat to the current status quo. The Democrat Party and liberal causes alike receive a disproportionate amount of money from the unions, so it stands to reason that neither are going to be happy if one of their major sources of funding takes a hit.
A sampling from Twitter, where intelligence goes to die, shows us how many on the left are reacting to yesterday’s news.
good thing i’m not having kids since betsy devos will ruin any chance of them succeeding academically

As our schools devolve into a fuckwitted, Jesus-humping hellscape, my decision not to have children is looking positively heroic right now.

Welp. Good thing I’m never having kids. #devos

Well, you get the idea. The left has seriously taken a turn toward batsh-t crazy after their crushing defeat in November, and it only seems to be getting worse as President Trump and his cabinet work to abolish the status quo and return power back to the people.
As far as DeVos is concerned, a five minute Google search reveals she’s more than qualified for the job. If you’re incapable of doing at least that before passing judgment on her, perhaps it’s better you don’t reproduce anyway.
