For some reason, Democrats have it in their tiny heads that normal Americans lack the ability to defend themselves with a firearm, which is evident with their constant push to disarm us while trying to convince us the police will keep us safe. Such is the case with the latest comments from Bill Clinton, who made an utterly stunning remark after being asked an important question about the Orlando terror attack.

For those of us on the right, the popular meme for some time now has been that a good guy with a gun is the only thing capable of stopping a bad guy with a gun, and it’s true. Every horrific shooting to take place has ended when someone on the good side shows up with a gun to confront the assailant, who either kills themselves, gets killed by the good guys, or stops shooting and is detained.

Democrats definitely understand this incredibly simple concept, but for some reason they don’t think any of us are capable of being the good guy to step in. Former President Bill Clinton is one of those Democrats as well.

During an interview on Bloomberg TV, Clinton was asked his thoughts about Donald Trump stating that if club patrons had been armed, the death toll would have been much lower since they would have had the opportunity to intervene and stop the shooter. In a statement to CNN on Monday, Trump said that “If you had some guns in that club the night that this took place, if you had guns on the other side, you wouldn’t have had the tragedy that you had.”

“If people in that room had guns, with the bullets flying in the opposite direction right at him, right at his head, you wouldn’t have had the same tragedy that you ended up having,” Trump added.

It’s pretty much common sense to assume that victims who shoot back live longer, but that sense appears to be lost on Old Billy Boy. When asked about Trump’s assertion, Clinton said that just the opposite of what Trump predicted would have been true.

“Did you see how dark it was?” Clinton asked. “It’s likely that more people would have been killed.”

Considering that it’s been revealed that the Orlando shooter was scoping out soft targets because his victims wouldn’t shoot back, it’s safe to say that Clinton is dead wrong on this one. Then again, the Democrats have been wrong on the gun issue for a long time, so it’s really no surprise to see Clinton be so far off on this one.

After all, it was in the not-so-brilliant mind of a Democrat that the idea of a “gun-free” zone was invented, and ever since, they have been the locations of some of the worst acts of violence ever perpetrated in our nation.
