Lynne Patton, whose father was born in Alabama and lived through some of our nation’s darkest times, now works for the Trump family as an executive, and she finally broke her silence. She released a video describing her experience with the Trumps, and it’s something that every single American needs to watch.
For quite some time, Patton has been employed by the Trump family, and now she works as the Director of The Eric Trump Foundation & Assistant to Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump & Donald Trump Jr.. Upset with the incessant attacks against the Trumps, she decided, on her own, to release a video in defense of her bosses, and it’s quickly going viral.
Titled, “Lynne Patton ‘The Trump Family That I Know,’” the five-minute video features her reading a deeply personal open letter to the country describing her own experience with the family. She destroys the common insults slung at Trump himself, and also reveals how they stood by her even through substance abuse issues, even though doing so could have hurt their reputation.

“The Trump family that I know is, without question, one of the most generous, compassionate and philanthropic families I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing and the honor to call friends,” she says in a portion of the video. “They have been incredibly loyal to me and the countless dedicated people they employ around the world – hiring more minority and female executives than any other company for which I’ve ever worked.”
Patton went onto defend Trump’s plan to both build a wall and place a moratorium on certain immigrants in order to keep our nation safe.
“To equate racism with my boss’ call for a temporary moratorium on a flawed immigration system that radical Islamic terrorists continue to exploit, or the construction of an impassible wall to protect our borders from the influx of illegal drugs, is not only incendiary, it’s wholly irresponsible and only serves to embolden the very hatred these draconian groups espouse.”
Patton explained that “this isn’t just a race” to Trump, and that “this family is willing to risk their own lives each and every day for the greater good of this country…” She also clarified that she was compelled to release the video not because she was told to, but because of how the family has treated her throughout life, since it’s the “right” thing to do.
“To the skeptics who will undoubtedly claim that I am doing this at the behest of the Trump family or with the promise of reward,” said Patton. “I deliberately chose not to seek their approval nor counsel in advance to this video, for fear that there would be more concern for me and its potential viral ramifications than they would be for themselves and the fact that quite simply this is the right thing to do.”
“God bless his family, God bless the voters and God bless the United States of America.”
