Hillary Clinton is like a zombie grandma that just won’t go away.
She was first rejected for president in 2008, when she was beaten by then-Senator Barack Obama in the Democrat primaries, and she would have suffered the same fate this election had her party not rigged them in her favor. But it ended up not mattering as she went on to be defeated in an electoral landslide by billionaire business mogul Donald Trump.
One would think that being a two-time failed presidential candidate would give her the hint that America doesn’t want her in the White House, but apparently you’d be wrong. According to best-selling political author Ed Klein, Hilary’s mulling the idea of starting a daytime talk show in order to soften the country up for another run at the White House in 2020.
The Daily Mail has more:
‘She thinks being the host of a popular TV show would energize the Democratic Party base and her tens of millions of fans,’ the unnamed source said, according to Klein.
‘It’s a way to make a comeback and position herself for another run at the White House starting in a year or so.’
Clinton, Klein writes, recently told a group of friends gathered at her Washington, D.C. home: ‘I’ll be back’ – and delivered the line in an Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘Terminator’ accent as she raised a glass of wine.
Klein’s source said Hillary has ‘been talking very seriously’ about a star turn on television.
‘As a TV host, she’d discuss the issues of the day from a progressive point of view, have top guests, interview world leaders and progressive thinkers.’
Hillary, in this scenario, would control everything about the show to make sure nothing unexpected could derail her future ambitions.
‘She’s convinced she’d get fabulous ratings in a political climate where there’s so much anger in Democratic circles over Donald Trump’s election,’ the insider said.
Klein’s source told him that Hillary is “utterly determined” to not fade away into the background despite being widely rejected by the American people.
“She knows Obama is going to be out there fighting too,” wrote Klein. ”But frankly, she doesn’t think he’s a great leader or a great fighter, which leaves an opening for her to be the acknowledged leader-in-exile of her party.”
Apparently Hillary isn’t too good at taking a hint. Aside from being dishonest and holding positions that are opposed to the interests of our nation, she was the most corrupt person the ever run for office, which is why she was rejected by the people this time around.
But hey, if she wants to run again in 2020, let her. All she’d be doing is guaranteeing that Trump has another four years, and judging by his first four days, that’s the best possible thing that could happen for the country after him initially winning.
