The lawyer who filed a lawsuit in Hawaii to stop President Trump’s travel ban has some shady ties from his past.

Neal Katyal is the attorney who represented the Muslim imam who claimed his family would suffer egregious harm if the travel restrictions were implemented, and as it turns out he has a thing for representing bad people. In fact, he represents the worst of the worst.

How bad? Well, many of you should remember the Salim Ahmed Hamdan. Hamdan was sent to the infamous Guantanamo Bay detention center as a terror suspect.

Hamdan was sent to Guantanamo Bay as a terror suspect because he was the bodyguard of none other than Osama bin Laden, the world’s most notorious terrorist. Hamdan was also represented by Katyal, who claimed in his lawsuit that the travel ban was some sort of attack against Muslims, Heavy reported.

Oddly enough, the travel restrictions were put in place to stop the very Muslims that Katyal has a penchant for representing in court. In both instances, Katyl, a Chicago native who now lives in Hawaii, was working in the interests of Obama and the Democrat Party, which shouldn’t be a surprise since he’s also a lifelong Democrat and has represented numerous key issues the Democrats believe in.

If you remember, Katyal argued on behalf of Hamdan and won the infamous Supreme Court case, which Obama supported, ruling military tribunals are unconstitutional.

In another strange twist, the judge who heard the case was both appointed by Obama and graduated law school with him. We previously reported that Obama made an unannounced stop in Hawaii hours before U.S. District Court Judge Derrick Watson issued his 46-page ruling against President Trump, thus stoking suspicions that he had a hand in the judge’s ruling.

So to recap, a lawyer who grew up in Illinois and now lives in Hawaii – two of Obama’s self-proclaimed “hometowns” – represented a Muslim imam in a case against a ban to prevent radical Muslims from coming into the country, in front of a judge that Obama appointed to the bench years after graduating with him, then won after Obama made a surprise trip to the islands and was spotted just minutes from the court house.

Are you seriously going to sit there and tell me that Obama isn’t connected to this in any way?
