Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch was more crooked than a stream cutting through the mountainside, and her dubious actions are finally catching up to her.
Former FBI Director James Comey previously testified under oath that Lynch had placed her finger on the scales of justice while he was investigating Hillary Clinton, leading him to change the way he discussed the issue and likely affecting the overall outcome. Americans have been wondering when Congress, which has seemingly become obsessed with investigations as of late, was going to start looking into Lynch and her corrupt dealings with the Clintons.
Apparently that time is now.
According to a report from the Washington Times, the Senate Judiciary Committee has formally launched a probe into Lynch’s attempt at shaping the investigation into Hillary Clinton.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s efforts to shape the FBI’s investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, the committee’s chairman announced Friday.
In a letter to Ms. Lynch, the committee asks her to detail the depths of her involvement in the FBI’s investigation, including whether she ever assured Clinton confidantes that the probe wouldn’t “push too deeply into the matter.”
Fired FBI Director James B. Comey has said publicly that Ms. Lynch tried to shape the way he talked about the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s emails, and he also hinted at other behavior “which I cannot talk about yet” that made him worried about Ms. Lynch’s ability to make impartial decisions.
So that’s that. Finally, after countless investigations into absolutely nothing involving President Trump, an investigation has been opened into one of the most corrupt members of the most corrupt administration this country has ever seen.
Hopefully, the Senate’s actions force the hand of Attorney General Sessions, who hasn’t seemed too motivated to hold these miscreants accountable for their misdeeds.
