Amid the furor over Attorney General Sessions’ testimony to Congress, a much more important, and far less publicized story has come out about Barack Obama and what he’s truly planning behind closed doors.
As many are aware, he set up shop in a massive mansion down the street from the White House so he could have all of his operatives move in and help him organize an effort to undermine President Trump. However, a close family friend has just revealed that Obama’s plan doesn’t stop at simply making the president look bad, he’s apparently going all out and doing everything within his power to get Trump removed from office.
Apparently, his top aide while in office, Valerie Jarrett, along with his wife Michelle have been pushing him to use his resources to get Trump out of office in any way he possibly can. The Daily Mail reports that a close family friend said that Obama has “come to embrace his role as the leader of the opposition” against the president, “whose policies he loathes and presidency he considers illegitimate.”
Obama plans to use his “immense popularity with the half of the country that identifies as liberals and progressives” to support his seditious cause, because he believes that “they need to be organized and have their anger focused and directed.”
“Obama is dismayed at the way Trump is tearing down his legacy—ObamaCare, the social safety net and the welcome mat for refugees he put in place,” the friend told the Daily Mail.
When he thought Hillary was going to win the election, Obama “hoped to write his memoirs, golf to his heart’s content, and bask in the glory of his eight years in power and the progressive achievements he brought about.” However, the shocking victory of her opponent changed his plans dramatically.
“Instead, he is going to be leading the fight and strategy to topple Trump,” says the insider.
According to a report from the New York Times this morning, Obama’s plans to sabotage the incoming administration started while he was still in office.
More from the Times [emphasis mine]:
In the Obama administration’s last days, some White House officials scrambled to spread information about Russian efforts to undermine the presidential election — and about possible contacts between associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump and Russians — across the government. Former American officials say they had two aims: to ensure that such meddling isn’t duplicated in future American or European elections, and to leave a clear trail of intelligence for government investigators.
The latest Russian hysteria involves Jeff Sessions and his alleged meetings with Russian diplomat Sergey Kislyak, the Washington Post reported. Sessions is accused of misleading Congress about the meetings, however, they were done in his official capacity as a Senator and had nothing to do with the Trump campaign, despite allegations from top Democrats.
Now, Congressional Democrats are calling for both Sessions’ resignation and a full investigation into his meetings with Kislyak. Although thus far, there’s been no evidence to support any wrongdoing whatsoever, and every report regarding Sessions has cited anonymous sources from within the government – sources that are likely being directed by Team Obama from his shadow White House.
