Chelsea Clinton should learn to keep her mouth shut, because every time she opens it she sounds like a total fool.
Most recently, she decided she was going to weigh in on the now-nonstop argument over whether or not Confederate memorials should be taken down. In a Twitter post, she said she didn’t realize how “unique” it was to grow up in a city without Confederate monuments, but there’s just one problem; the state capital has a Confederate monument.
Suffice it to say, Twitter users quickly called her out.
As a kid I didn't know how unique it was to grow up in a Southern city (Little Rock) where the confederate memorial was…in the cemetery. https://t.co/HhBhjTIWiT

“As a kid I didn’t know how unique it was to grow up in a Southern city (Little Rock) where the confederate memorial was…in the cemetery,” Clinton wrote.
Of course, that’s just not true. She spent quite a bit of time in the Arkansas governor’s mansion with her parents, and quite a bit of time at the capitol, where there’s plenty of Confederate monuments.
Here’s a couple:
Except these at the State Capitol…

Here’s what some twitter users had to say:
You lived there for 13 years part of it in govs mansion so please stop the middle class on what's right and wrong or how to live their lives

Nice sentiment, not entirely true however as there is a rather large one on the state capital grounds. https://t.co/w5u1lvo7CN

What was it like knowing that your father was a member of a whites only country club? https://t.co/s94qKjg45m

Of course, let’s not forget her own parents’ campaign materials. You know, from when it was okay to honor American history before liberals made it a punishable offense.

Fortunately your parents shielded you from their own campaigns materials. I agree, your situation was unique. pic.twitter.com/SVFDLiA55L

Yeah. Chelsea needs to think before she types.
