On Friday evening, the Washington Post released a report in which anonymous sources within the CIA allege that the Russians interfered with the election to ensure a win for President-elect Trump, but as always they’re hiding something major to push their desired narrative.
All weekend long, all we’ve heard on literally every news outlet except Fox News is that the Russians are responsible for Trump winning despite the fact that the Democrats ran the worst candidate in presidential history. All of the reporting about it is based off of the WaPo story, which was short on specifics and offered no factual evidence to support the stunning claim, and as it turns out they’ve all been omitting a major detail that’s quite pertinent to the story.
The CIA has concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the presidency, rather than just to undermine confidence in the U.S. electoral system, according to officials briefed on the matter.
Intelligence agencies have identified individuals with connections to the Russian government who provided WikiLeaks with thousands of hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and others, including Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, according to U.S. officials. Those officials described the individuals as actors known to the intelligence community and part of a wider Russian operation to boost Trump and hurt Clinton’s chances.
Additionally, Barack Obama recently ordered a full investigation into the election to see if Russia truly did hack anybody and interfere. However, what every media outlet hasn’t been telling you is that the issue has already been thoroughly investigated, and guess what?
The entire Russian hacking story appears to be fake news.
Check it out, from the New York Times:
For much of the summer, the F.B.I. pursued a widening investigation into a Russian role in the American presidential campaign. Agents scrutinized advisers close to Donald J. Trump, looked for financial connections with Russian financial figures, searched for those involved in hacking the computers of Democrats, and even chased a lead — which they ultimately came to doubt — about a possible secret channel of email communication from the Trump Organization to a Russian bank.
Law enforcement officials say that none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government. And even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump.
So let’s see, the FBI, which has shown, at least in part, it hasn’t become politicized like the CIA and other agencies, spent the better part of the summer investigating any Russian ties to the election and couldn’t find a thing. In fact, they determined that whoever hacked or leaked the emails of Podesta and the DNC did so to disrupt the election, not necessarily to ensure Trump won.
But now we have the CIA, at the behest of Obama – still sore over the election loss and terrified his legacy is going to flushed down the drain – coming out after the recount effort failed and not only saying that the Russians undoubtedly were responsible for the leaks, but the agency also knows without a shadow of a doubt that their only motive was to get Trump into office.
If you believe that, I have a bridge to nowhere to sell you.
But typical media, hiding important facts from the American people in an attempt to push their desired narrative. The scary part is that we’re just seven days away from the Electoral College voting and some of the electors aren’t sure they’re going for Trump.
I just pray that all of this contrived B.S. and FAKE NEWS doesn’t sway their opinion the wrong way.
