On Wednesday, President Trump sent the media into a frenzy when he sent out what seemed to be an errant tweet, but it turns out he was just trolling them…again.
Like clockwork, the left pounced on the President’s tweet, which at the time appeared to contain a major typo, and millions upon millions of memes were created within hours.
Below is a screenshot of what the President tweeted:
Well, the folks over at Red State Watcher did some digging after President Trump invited the world to figure out what he meant. As it turns out, “covfefe” is actually a real word, and after his trip to the Middle East last week, it actually makes a lot of sense that he used it.
From Red State Watcher:
When President Trump tweeted the word “Covfefe,” the world mocked him thinking he was “sleep texting” or just made a huge error.
There were millions of memes made within hours of the tweet.
Sean Spicer addressed the “covfefe” mystery and said it was intentional. After doing some research and using Google Translate, we found “Cov fe’fe” in Arabic means “I will stand up.”
The tweet now makes perfect sense “Despite the constant negative press – I will stand up”
So there you have it. Translated, the phrase actually makes quite a bit of sense.
It looks like the President was just having a little fun with his adversaries, yet again…
