A spokesman for Vladimir Putin speared on CNN Sunday morning, and what he had to say can’t be sitting too well with Democrats after lobbing accusations at President Trump over alleged collusion with Russia.
Apparently the Kremlin’s diplomat, Sergey Kislyak, makes a habit out of meeting with people in America, because, well, he’s a diplomat and that’s what diplomats do. So along with meeting with Michael Flynn and Jeff Sessions, Kislyak met with people from Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
From the Washington Examiner:
People associated with Hillary Clinton’s campaign also met with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman.
“Well, if you look at some people connected with Hillary Clinton during her campaign, you would probably see that [the Russian ambassador] had lots of meetings of that kind,” Dmitry Peskov told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview that aired Sunday.
Peskov said that none of the meetings between campaigns and Kislyak were about the election.
Think we’ll hear calls for an investigation or special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton’s possible collusion with Russia?
I wouldn’t bet money on it. She was a part of the deal to sell 1/5 of America’s strategic uranium reserves to the Russians after they pumped tens of millions of dollars into her “charity” and nobody batted an eye, so Democrats likely won’t even acknowledge this, let alone demand anything be done about it.
Regardless, this pretty much blows a giant hole through the entire Russian conspiracy, no?
