Democrats are seriously going off of the deep end.
Yesterday, we reported that Missouri State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal called for the assassination of the duly-elected President, ostensibly because she doesn’t like his political beliefs. She made the statement on Facebook, but quickly deleted it once she realized that the Secret Service would likely pay her a visit, although she has yet to apologize for such an egregious comment about the President.
While her remarks caused rightful outrage among many, one group that didn’t seem to mind so much is her fellow lunatic leftists. In fact, they not only didn’t mind, they started a petition to show their unyielding support for her calls to violence, all because they lost in the democratic process.
The petition website IStandWithMaria.com appeared almost overnight after Maria Chappelle-Nadal made international headlines for her now-deleted Facebook post in which she said “I hope Trump is assassinated!”
“We, as constituents and community members and people who feel the same frustration with our current political landscape stand with Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal,” the site states. “We know that there is a huge difference between saying that someone hopes Donald Trump is assassinated and someone calling for his assassination.”
Lovely, isn’t it? Calling for the assassination of a sitting President is already reprehensible, but for her to receive support from her fellow leftists just goes to show how unhinged liberals have become since being told “no” on numerous occasions since last November.
But think of the hypocrisy in all of this; imagine if a sitting Republican politician called for the death of Obama when he was in office, the outrage that would follow. But no, instead of outrage, this woman gets support.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; these people are pushing the country toward something they’re not going to like. Let’s just hope we can stop it before it’s too late.
