On Tuesday night, GOP front-runner Donald Trump delivered a crushing defeat to Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Ted Cruz in his home state of New York, and the city celebrated by turning the Empire State Building red. However, soon after the building changed colors, people noticed something quite odd.
In a partnership with CNN, the building was set to change colors as the presumptive winners of the primaries were announced. All went according to plan, but Twitter users soon noticed that it appeared to be more of an apocalyptic scene than it did a celebration.

@CNN A foreshadowing of the impending apocalypse if this candidate is elected?

Wow, the special lighting of the Empire State Building in honor of Trump is really spectacular. pic.twitter.com/71mlUIndgF

You get the idea. The anti-Trump crowd will use just about anything they can to smear him, even a patriotic display of our nation’s colors atop of an iconic building in New York City.
People really need to get a life.
