It’s been quite some time since a Democrat has turned on one of their own, but that’s exactly what California Sen. Dianne Feinstein did on Sunday.
Normally a hyper-partisan herself, Feinstein actually expressed concern over James Comey’s testimony that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch tried to tip the scales during Hillary Clinton’s email investigation. Not only that, Feinstein said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she wants the issue thoroughly investigated by the Senate Judiciary Committee, and liberal websites are actually reporting it.
It must be getting mighty cold in Hell.
Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Sunday that Congress should investigate whether former Attorney General Loretta Lynch pressured former FBI Director James Comey to cover for Hillary Clinton‘s presidential campaign.
“I think we need to know more about that,” Feinstein told host Brianna Keilar on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“And there’s only way to know about it, and that’s to have the Judiciary Committee take a look at that,” Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said.
Comey testified last Thursday that he felt “queasy” after Lynch asked him to characterize his probe into Clinton’s emails as a “matter,” rather than an investigation. He told the Senate Intelligence Committee that such a request would match the wording of Clinton’s campaign.
Feinstein, who is a member of the Senate Intelligence panel, said she would’ve also felt queasy.
“I would have a queasy feeling, too, though, to be candid with you,” the longtime Senate Democrat said.
She added that an investigation separate from the ongoing probe into Russian interference in the election is needed.

Wow. Satan is probably down there having snowball fights as we speak.
It’s sad to think that a Democrat calling for an investigation into a Democrat is shocking news, but it really is, especially after what they all did to shield Hillary Clinton from prosecution over her deliberate and malicious handling of classified information. What’s even sadder is that the second most powerful political party in the country openly embraces corruption.
While it would be nice if this marked a shift for the Democrats as a whole, that’s likely not the case. There’s just a lot of heat surrounding this issue, so Democrats need to be on the right side of it, lest they find themselves voted out en-masse next election.
