On Friday night, mobs of leftist fascists upset with the popularity of a candidate, who doesn’t pander to them constantly and otherwise has opposing political views, swarmed the arena where Donald Trump was set to hold a rally, effectively shutting it down. The demonstrators basically stood up and showed America that the First Amendment means nothing to them if you don’t agree with their beliefs, and Ted Cruz had an absolutely stunning response to the incident.

According to the Gateway Pundit, the protest was organized by MoveOn.org and #BlackLivesMatter, along with other far-left organizations. Communists, socialists, and other America-hating a**holes, including domestic terrorist and mentor to Barack Obama, Bill Ayers, turn out to shut down the free speech rights of thousands of freedom-loving Americans.

The incident ended up turning violent, only this time it wasn’t Trump’s supporters causing the issues, which isn’t a shock in the least. No, instead it was #BLM thugs and other fascist pricks, who even went as far as to say that sexually assaulting white Trump supporters was okay.

Check it out:

Nice, huh? Then there’s this video, which is one out of many, many videos taken at the even that show what Trump supporters were forced to endure trying to see their favorite candidate:

Lovely. We all can agree, what happened last night is absolutely inexcusable, and the protesters had absolutely no right to do what they did, especially when the incident descended into violence.

However, while we all agree that these fascist demonstrators should be condemned through and through, apparently Ted Cruz is toeing the liberal line on this one. No, really, he is. He blamed Trump for what happened, rather than taking the opportunity to condemn the far-left hatred fueling the demonstrations.

Here’s his statement, again from the Gateway Pundit:

Ted Cruz: Ted Cruz is responding to Donald Trump’s cancellation of his Chicago rally, saying the billionaire has created ‘an environment that encourages this sort of nasty discourse.’ The Texas senator is calling it a ‘sad day.’

He says, ‘Political discourse should occur in this country without the threat of violence, without anger and rage and hatred directed at each other.’

Cruz says blame for the events in downtown Chicago rests with the protesters but ‘in any campaign responsibility starts at the top.’

Cruz says, ‘When the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence, to punch people in the face, the predictable consequence of that is that is escalates. Today is unlikely to be the last such incidence.’

Isn’t that nice? So much for supporting the Constitution and people’s right to free speech, huh.
