Ohio Governor John Kasich must have a short memory… like really short.
Just a few months ago, he defied President-elect Donald Trump during the primary and supported the Obama administration’s plan for increasing Muslim refugees from terrorist nations – the very type of people responsible for the incident at Ohio State University on Monday. Apparently, Kasich has already forgotten that’s one of the reasons GOP voters rejected his bid for the presidency.
Unfortunately for him, Americans don’t forget when politicians support policies that endanger us, so social media users laid the blame for the terror attack where it belongs – directly at the governor’s feet. Kasich tweeted a statement in support of the victims and first responders, and almost immediately he was hit with brutal backlash.

You insisted Ohio take in Somali Muslims @JohnKasich knowing the inevitable terrorism they'd bring
Ohio State University is on you

One user even commented that Kasich appears to share something in common with his Democrat counterparts.
John Kasich's comments all about him. No mention of Somali Muslim Terrorist. Just "we may never know why". I know why. Duh.

…and that’s exactly why things like the Ohio State terror attack continue to happen – in order to stop a threat, you first have to properly identify it.
