A video from 1999 has surfaced showing Jesse Jackson praising Donald Trump has surfaced, and it completely destroys the liberal narrative that Trump’s a racist bigot.
In fact, the video was from a conference in Manhattan that celebrated the Wall Street Project’s efforts in building up minority communities, which Trump played a major role in. According to its website, the project bills itself as a group that “challenges corporate America to end the multi-billion dollar trade deficit with minority vendors and consumers, while working to ensure equal opportunities for culturally diverse employees, entrepreneurs and consumers.”
Trump was invited to the project’s 1999 conference, where Jackson praised him for being “inclusive” and applauded his efforts to achieve “diversity.”
Check it out, via the Daily Caller:
“I do want to thank you, Donald Trump, for being with us tonight,” Jackson said in the speech. “We need your building skills, your gusto for people on Wall Street to represent diversity.”
“He is deceptive in that his social style is of such, one can miss his seriousness and commitment to success, which is beyond argument,” Jackson said of Trump.
Jackson said that Trump gave his group a space at 40 Wall Street, “which was to make a statement about our having a presence there.”
Trump has the “will to make things better,” Jackson said.”
“Aside from all of his style, and his pizazz, he’s a serious person who is an effective builder of people.”
Recently, Trump has come under fire for saying he wants to help clean up minority communities and make the American Dream possible for everyone, with his critics calling his statements racist and bigoted. However, this video should go a long way in proving otherwise, considering one of the nation’s worst race hustlers was actually commending him for a job well done in his outreach to minority communities.
Your move, Hillary.
