Jill Stein is like herpes – she just won’t go away.
Despite having almost no effect on the overall election, she’s pushing for recounts in numerous states. To what end is unknown, but many have speculated she’s either exploiting the recounts to raise money or she and Hillary Clinton have some sort of dirty trick up their sleeve to steal the White House from Trump.
Regardless, what she’s doing is downright disgusting and it undermines the confidence in our elections.
Yesterday we learned her recount efforts in Pennsylvania stalled out after she couldn’t afford to pay the fees. Despite this, she’s still moving forward and continuing with her petulant whining over the election results as if any recount would end with her winning – here’s a hint; it wouldn’t.
But on Monday, she’s headed to New York City to deliver a rotten surprise to President-elect Trump outside of his famed tower.
The Hill has more:
Green Party candidate Jill Stein is scheduled to hold a press conference and rally outside Trump Tower in New York on Monday, defending her push for recounts in several states.
“We won’t stand down as Donald Trump and his allies seek to frivolously obstruct the legal processes set up to ensure we have a voting system we can trust and that all votes have been counted,” Stein said in a statement released Saturday.
Stein filed for a recount in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, traditionally blue states where Trump narrowly won this year.
Lovely. She’s playing the uninformed for fools by trying to convince them that our voting systems were tampered with despite there being absolutely no evidence of such.
Meanwhile, the reality is that she’s working as an operative for Hillary Clinton, who was completely devastated by the upset loss and won’t graciously accept defeat.
The only good thing is that Stein, along with Hillary and her supporters, are rendering the Democrat and Green parties irrelevant in the years going forward since they’re exposing that both parties only love democracy when they win. Well, that’s not democracy, and Americans are tired of it.
