On Tuesday, voters from numerous states around the nation will take to the polls to vote for their favorite GOP candidate. There’s been much debate over who’s going to win, but the frontrunner Donald Trump received incredible news from CNN on Monday morning.
In the last three primary votes, The Donald dominated his competition, and won with massive margins of victory, which sent the GOP establishment into a frenzy and has the other candidates concerned he may sweep tomorrow’s elections. If the latest nationwide poll from CNN is any indication of what’s to come, they should be concerned… very concerned.
Business Insider has more on the poll:
Trump had support from 49% of Republican and Republican-leaning voters nationally, according to the poll. That put him more than 30 points ahead of Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, who was at 16%, and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, who was at 15%. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson had 10% support in the poll, while Gov. John Kasich of Ohio rounded out the Republican field at 6%.
Trump’s number in the poll was up 8 points from last month, before the first caucuses and primaries of the election season. Rubio also saw an 8-point jump, while Cruz fell 4 points in the survey.
The CNN survey provided Trump with a better standing than other recent polls. According to the RealClearPolitics average of recent national surveys, Trump has about a 16-point lead.
Isn’t that something? It looks like Trump is set to dominate tomorrow despite other candidates’ best efforts to smear him in the last debate and their subsequent stump speeches.
Can Trump be stopped? Let us know in the comments.
