Now that James Comey is no longer running the FBI, Loretta Lynch isn’t receiving the protection he seemed to be giving her, and Senate Republicans are pouncing.

Comey recently testified that Lynch stuck her nose in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server, demanding he use the Clinton campaign’s talking points and meeting with Bill Clinton on a private jet in Arizona – a meeting nobody would have known about had it not been for a brave local reporter getting the scoop. Now, amid the intensifying probe into alleged Russian collusion by the Trump campaign, Sen. Chuck Grassley announced that the Senate Judiciary Committee will be launching yet another investigation, only this time it’s into Lynch and her illicit acts as Attorney General.

While the investigation will look at the President’s firing of Comey – an act that’s permissible by the Constitution – it will also focus on Lynch obstructing justice for her pal Hillary, the Daily Mail reported.

Lynch’s infamous Phoenix airport tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton in the final days of the email investigation will be part of the probe.

Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee that it made him ‘queasy’ when at one point Lynch directed him to discuss the federal investigation into Clinton’s private email server as a ‘matter’ rather than a full-blown ‘investigation,’ which it was.

‘There should be no improper interference with FBI investigations to favor any elected official or candidate of either party,’ Grassley wrote, The Hill reported. ‘The Committee has an obligation to pursue all evidence of such misconduct.’

He told his Democratic countrpart: ‘The Judiciary Committee has an obligation to fully investigate any alleged improper partisan interference in law enforcement investigations.’

‘It is my view that fully investigating the facts, circumstances, and rationale for Mr. Comey’s removal will provide us the opportunity to do that on a cooperative, bipartisan basis,’ Grassley added, optimistically.

Finally, after mountains of evidence and eyewitness testimony, a Democrat is actually under investigation for something. How refreshing.

Hopefully, Republicans don’t cower like they always do and they nail these vermin to the wall.
