For the first time since Bill Clinton was in office, the White House didn’t hold a dinner marking the end of Ramadan, the “holiest” month in Islam.

President Trump is a practicing Christian and his wife is Catholic, so it stands to reason that they’d have no interest in celebrating an Islamic holiday, but that hasn’t stopped the virtue signaling, atheist left and their Muslim allies from becoming outraged over his decision to end the commemorative dinner. Instead, the President issued a statement wishing Muslims a happy Eid al-Fitr, which is the feast that ends the month of Muslim fasting, but that just wasn’t good enough.

President Trump’s statement read:

On behalf of the American people, Melania and I send our warm greetings to Muslims as they celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

With Muslims around the world, the United States renews our commitment to honor these values. Eid Mubarak.

While the statement is seen as satisfactory for most everyone, the non-religious left had a huge issue with it, which is hypocritical, at best, considering that our public schools actively discriminate against Christianity while indoctrinating children to the practices of Islam. Worse yet, children have actually been punished for wishing others a “Merry Christmas,” but that still hasn’t stopped leftists for slamming the President’s refusal to publicly endorse Islam.

Keep in mind that it appears to only be Muslims demanding others celebrate their holidays. Speaking of which, let’s have a look the reality surrounding Islam and Ramadan, shall we?

Indeed. One only needs to look at Sweden or Germany, and now even the U.K., to see the disastrous effects of open borders and mass migration of third-world savagery into their first-world nations. But I digress.

For the first time in a long time we have a President who refuses to embrace ideals that are the antithesis of our nation and its values, and for that we should be celebrating.
