Disgraced NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has had a tough time getting signed this season, and it turns out that it’s pretty much his own fault.
We previously reported that the Miami Dolphins decided to sign retired QB Jay Cutler instead of Kaepernick, ostensibly because the team didn’t want the on-field antics that Kaepernick would bring. However, while Miami’s decision had to do with keeping their fans happy, Kaepernick refused at least one contract offered to him…because he wanted to stoke the racial division in America.
The Daily Caller is reporting that a source within the NFL said that the troublemaking player is trying to cause troubles in the off-season by turning down otherwise lucrative contracts because he wants to start a media frenzy that could lead to a better deal. Worse yet, his radicalized girlfriend, Nessa Diab, is the one pushing him to fan the flames of hatred and division to try to score a better deal.
This guy is a real piece of work.
According to the source, Kaepernick isn’t interested in earning “backup money” for a team – $900,000 annually to ride the bench, the league minimum for a seventh-year player – so he’s turned down at least one contract offer to continue stirring the pot in hopes of making more money.
“Colin thinks he’s fighting a much higher battle than he is,” the source stated. “He views himself as a race messiah.”
The source also told the Caller that the NFL, led by leftist Roger Goodell, has silenced teams and owners in regards to discussing negotiations with Kaepernick. While no reason was given, it’s likely because the league is trying to protect him from further scrutiny.
As for his whacko girlfriend, who’s an outspoken radio host, when Kaepernick was in negotiations with the Baltimore Ravens, Ray Lewis, a former linebacker for the team, released a cryptic video instructing him to focus on football, not activism. That’s all it took to light the fuse on her tampon, and two days later she compared Lewis and the team’s owner to a slave and his master.
Negotiations came to an abrupt end after that.
So that’s that. This guy turned into a social justice warrior on the field, and just like every other social justice warrior out there, he’s trying to cash in on his virtue signaling.
If the rest of the teams were smart, they’d let him sit out for a season and think about the money he could have been making otherwise. After all, the best way to teach someone a lesson is through their wallet.
