Well folks, the fix is in it appears. Matt Lauer was chosen as the moderator for the first presidential forum, and what happened right after he was picked is actually quite infuriating.
For some reason, it’s always Republican-hating leftists chosen to moderate debates and forums, which is a massive disservice to the voters since Democrat candidates aren’t given the same hardline questions as Republicans. Candy Crowley and George Stephanopoulos did it with Mitt Romney, and there’s been countless of other examples of activists trying to torpedo Republican candidates.
Now it appears as if the same is happening again. Matt Lauer has been chosen to moderate the first forum where both candidates will speak at a town hall style event, and we can all guess how that’s going to turn out.
More from the Daily Caller:
Matt Lauer will moderate the first forum between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
It will be a one-hour forum where Clinton and Trump will answer questions about national security, military affairs and veterans issues in front of an audience mainly made up of members of the military. The two candidates will not be on the stage at the same time, but will instead go back to back.
Oddly enough, Lauer was also listed as a “notable past member” of the Clinton Global Initiative along with Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper.

Looks like Clinton Foundation has deleted page showing Matt Lauer was "notable" member of Clinton Global Initiative. https://t.co/xGYhuz1POd

However, upon his being announced as the moderator for the forum, something strange happened to the Clinton Foundation’s website – it scrubbed all references of him from it.
More from Mediaite:
NBC’s Matt Lauer, who NBC Universal recently announced would moderate the upcoming Commander-in-Chief Forum with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, was once listed as a “notable member” of the Clinton Global Initiative, the leadership arm of the Clinton Foundation.
The page on the Clinton Foundation website that listed several other prominent journalists as members as well has since been deleted. But Mediaite screencapped the page when it was first reported on back in 2015.
Awesome, right? First a radical leftist is chosen to moderate the forum, then the Clintons scrub any evidence of his association with them to create the illusion of impartiality. I’d ponder how HIllary’s campaign would be able to spin this one, but odds are they won’t even be asked about it.
This is seriously getting really tiring, and I pray to God that people are finally waking up to the deeply rooted corruption throughout politics and the media.
