New York Times Smears Trump Over Patriots Visit, Then The Team Gives Them SMACK DOWN

On Wednesday, the New England Patriots visited the White House for the first time since winning the Super Bowl, and the New York Times used the opportunity to smear President Trump.

However, the team’s owner is a friend of the president, and he wasn’t about to allow the fake news from the Times to go unchallenged.

The Times posted pictures of a 2015 visit from the team and compared it to Wednesday’s, with the implication that there was a much smaller number of people there this time around.

However, while they may have been a few less visitors, it wasn’t anything like the Times tried to portray, so the Patriots soon called them out.

Ouch. Pretty hard to argue with the source, eh?

For what it’s worth, the Times eventually corrected its false reporting, but the damage had already been done.

Of course, Twitter users were quick to call out the Times for their “fake news,” and rightfully so. All it would have taken was a phone call to the Patriots to ask how large the delegations were, but instead the Times chose to assume something then publish it as fact, without any verification.

Sadly, this is all too common with the mainstream media; so-called “journalists” have been caught in more lies than are easily counted ever since President Trump won the election. With that in mind, is it any wonder why trust in the media is the lowest it’s ever been?
