Early Friday morning, Barack Obama gave a speech in Hiroshima, Japan, where he apologized for America bombing the city to end World War II, and it didn’t sit too well with Americans. Well if they weren’t happy about Obama’s apology, they’re really not going to be happy after learning about how the Japanese Prime Minister humiliated our president immediately after his speech.
For some reason, Obama was determined to be the first sitting U.S. president to visit Hiroshima since America dropped a nuclear bomb on the city after years of the Imperialist Japanese Military committing war crimes that resulted in millions dying, but it appears as if Prime Minister Shinzo Abe isn’t going to be returning the favor. No, according to the Free Beacon, Abe was asked if he’ll be coming to America to visit Pearl Harbor, the city Japan bombed to drag America into the war, and he replied with a resounding “no.”
The Beacon has more:
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said he will not be visiting Pearl Harbor to reciprocate President Obama’s tour stop in Hiroshima, Japan.
Abe has said that while he “wholeheartedly welcomes” Obama’s decision to visit Hiroshima, he has no plans to visit Pearl Harbor. He did visit the United States last year to commemorate the end of World War II.
As part of his Asian tour Obama stopped in Hiroshima, the city that was destroyed by the first deployed atomic bomb during World War II. The purpose of Obama’s visit was to reflect on and honor all those who had died during World War II.
So once again, Obama’s apology tour yields nothing except another world leader showing their lack of respect for the leader of the free world. You’d think he’d learn after seeing similar results so many times in the past, but then again, that would mean admitting he’s wrong to apologize for America, and we all know that’s not going to happen.
