A noted professor from Princeton University has publicly weighed in on the so-called “bathroom war,” and a stunning claim he made about transgendered people probably isn’t going to sit too well with Barack Obama.

Robert P. George is the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton, and late Sunday evening he decided he was going to send out a tweet questioning the science behind the entire transgender movement after learning about Obama’s “decree” forcing schools to open their bathrooms to gender-confused kids.

He also sent out a tweet that warned of the effects of Obama’s edict on parents’ rights to educate their children in safe environments.

According to Breitbart News, George’s concerns about the transgender movement are quite similar to those expressed by the American College of Pediatricians, which argues that encouraging young people to question their biological sexuality amounts to “child abuse,” as the organization put it.

“A person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking,” the doctors stated. “When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such.”

Obama’s edict attempts to normalize that which isn’t normal by treating transgenderism as if it’s healthy rather than a treatable mental illness – a position strongly refuted by the group of physicians.

“Endorsing gender discordance as normal via public education and legal policies will confuse children and parents, leading more children to present to ‘gender clinics’ where they will be given puberty-blocking drugs,” the physicians warned. “Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse.”

Indeed. It’s one thing if adults want to play dress up and walk around as confused individuals, it’s something else entirely robbing a child of their right to reproduce and have a family later in life by chemically altering their bodies to prevent them from maturing as their biological sex.

Anybody who would do the latter is in fact abusing their child and subjecting them to a lifetime of unhappiness and internal torture, which is evidenced by the fact that some 41 percent of transgendered individuals attempt suicide at one point in their lives. To call it child abuse is an understatement at best, and at worst it’s giving a child a death sentence while assuring their basic carnal need to reproduce will never be met.

If you’re willing to do that to your child, then you’re not even responsible enough to be a parent, let alone make a decision that will affect a child’s life until the day they day.
