The so-called “Women’s March” in Washington, D.C. last weekend to protest the incoming president featured a speaker with an utterly horrifying past.

Donna Hylton was one of many speakers that addressed the crowd of thousands and her name appears on the Women’s March website next to other liberal heroes like Cecil Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood, Gloria Steinem, avowed communist Van Jones, and quasi-documentarian Michel Moore, among others. Although while the others made a name for themselves promoting liberal causes, Hylton made her name in a much more sinister manner – the kidnapping, torture, rape and murder of a man.

Surprisingly, while the list of her egregious actions is quite long, she’s now out of prison to be able to speak at such an event as an activist for criminal justice reform. Irony?

According to the Daily Caller, Hylton had six-co-conspirators in her horrible crime, and she showed absolutely no remorse as she stood trial. Worse yet, she attempted to collect ransom from the man’s friends and family despite the fact that she and her murderous gang had already killed him in cold-blood.

More from the Caller:

Hylton, along with three men and three other women, kidnapped 62-year-old real-estate broker Thomas Vigliarolo and held him for ransom, before eventually killing him. As noted in a 1995 Psychology Today article, when asked about forcibly sodomizing the victim with a three foot steel pole, Hylton replied: “He was a homo anyway.”

Speaking about Hylton, New York City Detective William Spurling told Psychology Today: “I couldn’t believe this girl who was so intelligent and nice-looking could be so unemotional about what she was telling me she and her friends had done. They’d squeezed the victim’s testicles with a pair of pliers, beat him, burned him.”

According to that same article, Hylton delivered a ransom note to a friend of Vigliarolo’s asking for more than $400,000, even though the victim was already dead by that point. A 1985 article in The New York Times, which misspelled Donna’s last name as “Hilton,” put the ransom demand at $435,000. For her participation in the murder, according to Psychology Today, Hylton was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Unsurprisingly, organizers for the march refused to comment on Hylton’s participation in the event. Keep in mind they’re also the same organizers who banned a pro-life, anti-Trump women’s organization from participating in the event despite the fact they claimed to be “inclusive” and represent “diversity.”

Last April, Hylton participated in a panel in support of failed presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, and she now works as a criminal justice reform activist despite the fact she appears to have gotten off easy after killing a man.

While Hylton’s past crimes are shocking, the fact she participated in the march isn’t. The same march had speakers reciting utterly disgusting poems, threatening the president’s life, and saw attendees wearing hats that were supposed to represent women’s genitalia.

Meanwhile, these are also the same people who had the nerve to call Trump and his supporters “deplorable,” only because of their political views.

Let that sink in for a bit…
