Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders had a debate over the disastrous law known as Obamacare on Tuesday night, and Cruz left old Bernie bumbling for words.
As the pair went back and forth, Cruz pulled out a map to make a point about the law and the problems it’s causing every day Americans. Unsurprisingly, the map closely mimics the same map that gave President Trump the White House, and it reveals that nearly 70 percent of the nation doesn’t have the choices promised by Obama before the law was passed.
“It’s interesting, you look at this map, this also very much looks like the electoral map that elected Donald Trump,” Cruz said, holding up the map of the counties. “It’s really quite striking that the communities that have been hammered by this disaster of a law said, ‘Enough already.’”

For his part, Sanders did admit the law is flawed and needs to be fixed. However, he doesn’t favor the repeal and replace option, likely because it takes control away from the state, but Cruz argued that the free market is truly the only way it’s going to be fixed since the government pretty much screws up everything it touches.
