Now that Donald Trump has become the presumptive GOP nominee, it’s time for him to start considering who he’ll have in his cabinet if he wins come November, and apparently he has been. He already has someone in mind for an attorney general, and it might not be who you think it is.
As Trump has repeatedly stated throughout his campaign, he’s only going to hire the best and the brightest for each position in his cabinet, regardless of how well they get along. That’s what any smart businessman does – he hires people based on their merits rather than their personal relationship.
With that in mind, it makes sense that he would want a strong Constitutional attorney overseeing our nation’s Justice Department, especially after the last seven years of lawlessness. According to the Political Insider, that’s exactly who he’s considering.

During a recent interview, Dr. Carson made a huge announcement about who he believes will be Trump’s Attorney General: Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX). He is a tough attorney and would be an ideal candidate to prosecute Hillary Clinton for her crimes!
Ben Carson on Wednesday floated Ted Cruz as a possible attorney general in a Donald Trump administration, noting that it could allow Cruz to prosecute Hillary Clinton.
“I think he would be terrific on the Supreme Court, or I think he would be a terrific attorney general. Or he could be both,” Carson told Fox News Radio’s John Gibson.
Carson was asked whether it would be “smart” for Trump, now the presumptive GOP nominee, to nominate Cruz to the Supreme Court.
“He could be attorney general first, you know, go ahead and prosecute Hillary, and then go on the Supreme Court,” Carson added.
Carson admitted that there are “deep wounds” though and it may “take a little while for that to occur.”
Boom! While he wouldn’t have been able to beat Hillary Clinton in the general election, it would be awesome to watch him fry her in a courtroom. Let’s just hope that Trump gets elected so that fantasy can become a reality.
