During a campaign stop in Missouri, GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump told the audience how he intends to stop the reckless protesting at his events, and issued a chilling threat to those who try to disrupt them in the future.
Speaking to a crowd of about 3,500 in Kansas City, Trump said that the only way to stop future protests and disruptions is to press charges against those disrupting his events, even if it’s not the route he’d like to take.
“I hope these guys get thrown in jail,” said Trump after a protester was escorted out of the venue.
“They’ll never do it again,” Trump said. “It will destroy their record. They’ll have to explain to mommy and daddy why they have a police record and why they can’t get a job.”
“They’re probably good kids,” he continued. “I don’t want to ruin people’s lives. But the only way we’re gonna stop this craziness is if we press charges. Because then their lives are gonna be ruined, they’re gonna know their lives are gonna be ruined. So I’ll just tell you folks, from now on, if you do anything, we’re pressing charges, okay?”
Earlier in the day, an unhinged leftist stormed the stage in Dayton, Ohio, and nearly made it to Trump while he stood on the podium speaking. Fortunately, Secret Service agents were quick to react, and the suspect was thrown to the ground then taken away in handcuffs.
So perhaps Trump is onto something with starting to press charges. After all, these insane activists continue to do anything they can to disrupt his events, and most of the time there’s zero consequences for it.
