Unhinged leftists once again took to the streets in Connecticut over the weekend to cry about losing the election, but this time things got completely out of hand.

A critically ill patient was being transported to the hospital by emergency services over the weekend when their ambulance encountered leftist rioters blocking off the streets. Some 200 people gathered in New Haven to block an exit ramp off of I95 in opposition to President Trump’s executive order placing a moratorium on travel to certain countries, which forced EMTs into an unthinkable position.

MassLive has more on this disgusting display of lawlessness from the left:

“The protesters were in the process of being cleared from the highway, but not before they obstructed an ambulance carrying a critically ill patient. Due to this delay ambulance personnel were required to perform an emergency medical procedure in the ambulance instead of at the hospital,” police said in a written statement.

After police cleared the roadway they identified the leader of the protest who was shouting though a microphone and loudspeaker.

State Police Troopers New Haven officers eventually located the leader of the protest on the corner, who was identified as Norman Clement, 66, of State Street, New Haven.

“Clement ran from law enforcement personnel through the crowd, knocking over several of his supporters, before being apprehended. Clement actively resisted arrest and was sprayed with (pepper spray),” police said.

Clement, a “tolerant” liberal, was charged with inciting a riot, disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer, and reckless use of the highway by a pedestrian. Police booked him into jail, but he was released on a $5,000 bond and will appear in court on Feb. 13.

In the wake of the increased rioting from the left, Connecticut State Police have warned them that blocking any highway or roadway is a crime, and they can expect to face punishment if caught doing so. Although it’s unclear how many, if any, other rioters were arrested along with Clement.

While it’s great that the police are going to be cracking down on liberals blocking roads, the real question is when they’re going to be charging them with domestic terrorism, because that’s basically what they’ve been engaging in as of late.
