Yesterday, a lead NBC Sports reporter was watching the opening ceremony of a baseball game, in which a massive flag was displayed as the Air Force did a flyover, and apparently became so triggered he couldn’t contain himself.
Craig Calcaterra was watching the series opener for the Atlanta Braves when he became enraged by the patriotic display of our flag and military. However, instead of keeping his thoughts to himself knowing that the majority of the nation is proud to see such ceremonies at the start of our sporting events, the seasoned sports writer took to Twitter to express his dire need for the nearest safe space to hide from the not-so-political “political” message the display contained, or something.
Check it out, from the Gateway Pundit:
“Will you keep politics out of sports, please,” he wrote. “We like sports to be politics-free.”
Calcaterra was then asked by another Twitter user how the flag is political, and his series of answers were nothing short of un-American.
@DiamondStarsGM Maybe a flag, in and of itself isn't always political. A two-acre flag with a military flyover is saying something very specific, however.

According to Calcaterra, the latest leftist to show disdain for a symbol of patriotism, the flag is nothing more than “just a piece of fabric.”
Lovely, eh? It’s something how the anti-American left exposes themselves whenever true patriots show their love of our nation.
To the left, it’s okay to be proud of your race as long as you’re not white; it’s okay to be proud of your gender as long as you’re not male; it’s okay to be proud of your sexuality as long as you’re not straight, and it’s okay to be proud of your nation as long as you’re not American.
Are you noticing a trend here?
