On Friday, Clinton super PAC the Washington Post released video of Donald Trump talking dirty about women with Billy Bush in an off the record conversation, and very credible rumors are swirling over where the tape came from.

The tape was released late in the afternoon on Friday, and within hours House Speaker Paul Ryan already had a prepared statement admonishing Trump and announcing that he was canceling their first scheduled event together, the Los Angeles Times reported. Ryan and Trump were to appear on stage together for the first time in Wisconsin, but conveniently the tape came to light giving Ryan an out.

“I am sickened by what I heard today,” Ryan said in a statement. “Women are to be championed and revered, not objectified. I hope Mr. Trump treats this situation with the seriousness it deserves and works to demonstrate to the country that he has greater respect for women than this clip suggests.”

For two days, the headlines all talked about the tape, until Sunday, when Trump delivered a crushing defeat during an epic debate performance. With the landslide victory under his belt, Trump effectively changed the narrative from the video back to the important issues in this election while putting the tape behind him.

Cue Paul Ryan…again.

The morning after the debate, Ryan announced that he would no longer be campaigning for or defending Trump, thus changing the news cycle from what should have been a positive one for Trump after his stellar Sunday performance to a negative one as the piranhas in the media sunk their teeth into Ryan’s statement. But oddly enough, while Ryan said he wouldn’t be defending Trump any longer, he hasn’t exactly defended him to date, leading some to speculate that perhaps he may be the one sabotaging Trump’s campaign, including Jerry Falwell Jr., who said he believed Ryan to be the source of the tape.

But it gets worse. Rumors started swirling that Ryan’s close advisor, Never Trumper Dan Senor, was behind the leak.

Check out what Senor was tweeting yesterday following the debate:

Then hours later, this:

And these people think Trump is bad? Unbelievable.
