In the past few days, Russian military bombers have flown close enough to Alaska to be intercepted by U.S. military fighters, and while that was playing out Vladimir Putin made a terrifying move on the other side of the world.

Tensions continue to escalate with North Korea after it conducted yet another failed missile test on Sunday, which followed a massive show of force from the small nation the previous day to mark its founder’s birthday. President Trump has warned North Korea’s dictator, Kim Jung Un, that the U.S. won’t tolerate the country developing ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads to America, and the looming threat of action has now caused Russia to take preventative actions of their own.

While Putin was busy taunting the U.S. military in Alaska, he was quietly amassing a massive number of troops and equipment along Russian’s border with North Korea. The exact reason for the terrifying move in unknown; however, it’s not a coincidence that it happened right after the U.S. had a tense standoff with the North, causing China to amass 150,000 troops of its own on border with North Korea.

From the Daily Mail:

Vladimir Putin is sending troops and equipment to Russia’s border with North Korea over fears the US is preparing to attack Kim Jong-un.

The Russian President fears there will be a huge exodus of North Korean refugees if his American counterpart, Donald Trump, launches military action against Pyongyang.

It comes days after it emerged that China is also sending 150,000 soldiers to its southern frontier to cope with the tidal wave of North Koreans Beijing fears would flee across the border if war breaks out.

This morning, footage emerged appearing to show how Putin is reinforcing his 11-mile border with North Korea by relocating troops and equipment.

Russian military spokesman Alexander Gordeyev declined to give the exact reasons for the troop and equipment movements but said exercises had recently ended in the TransBaikal region of Siberia.

Apprently, Russia is preparing for the worst as the world tries to get Kim Jung Un under control. Unfortunately, many experts believe that he’s crazy enough to go to war with the West, even though his nation would be crushed by the force of our militaries.

But should war break out in the repressive state and the regime be toppled, both China and Russia have a vested interest in securing it to prevent a Western-controlled government from directly bordering their nation. With that said, North Korea could very well be ground zero for WWIII.

For everyone’s sake, let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
