The news of the day is about the disgusting report put out by BuzzFeed and CNN alleging President-elect Donald Trump hired prostitutes to do nasty things in a Moscow hotel, and it turns out John McCain has his hands all over it.
McCain has been a sworn enemy of Trump throughout the election, and it turns out that the file that contained unverified accusations against the president-elect originated with the Arizona Senator, who handed it off to the FBI after he received it. In a statement released Wednesday morning, McCain admitted that he had a meeting with FBI Director James Comey, where he handed to explosive file off for further review.

The Arizona senator issued a public statement amid mounting questions of his exact role in the affair – and how a document riddled with errors and unverifiable claims came to be published.
‘Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public,’ he said.
‘Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI.
‘That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue.’
But the 2008 Republican loser, who disowned his party’s candidate weeks before the election, may have been far more intimately involved than that.
According to Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein, McCain was given the file by a former MI6 agent who was doing opposition research for Republicans and Democrats alike during the election. McCain apparently reviewed the file with the unidentified agent just after the election, then arranged a meeting with Comey.
“And then, a former British ambassador to Russia independently was made aware of these findings and he took the information to John McCain – Senator John McCain of Arizona – in the period just after the election, and showed it to McCain – additional findings,” Bernstein said.
“McCain was sufficiently disturbed by what he read to take it to FBI director James Comey himself personally, they had a five minute meeting the two men, very little was said, McCain turned it over to him and is now awaiting what the FBI’s response is to that information.”
We reported earlier that the allegations appear to have been the work of an Internet troll on 4chan, who spoke of the outrageous claims in a Nov. 1 post on the web forum. The user says that they handed the file off to Rick Wilson, who then passed it along to someone who was able to get it in front of intelligence officials.
