Following the leftist-initiated violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, a petition was created to demand the government declare AntiFa a terrorist organization, and it’s spreading like wildfire.
The petition’s creator named it “Formally Recognize AntiFa as a Terrorist Organization,” and in just four days it’s amassed well over the 100,000 signature threshold to warrant a response from the White House. In fact, as of publication, the petition had received 157,007 signatures, and it continues growing strongly.
Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims”. This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations. AntiFa has earned this title due to its violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States. It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.
Following the violent riots in Charlottesville, political elites and media alike slammed President Trump for daring to condemn both the left and right for the violence. Since then, AntiFa has been heralded as righteous freedom fighters by the media, even though CNN originally published a story about the group and referenced its violent ways in the title, only to turn around and alter it after members of AntiFa complained.
CNN literally scrubbed a headline which called Antifa violent because Antifa did not like it.

Although altering the title of the story doesn’t change the fact AntiFa is a violent group. Over the past weekend in Boston, it was AntiFa who was assaulting conservatives, police, and media, as we previously reported.

Meanwhile, liberal darling Katie Couric complained that rioters in Charlottesville were throwing urine on her and the crew she was with. Of course, the media blamed the far-right groups who were there, but the same thing was happening in Boston, where no far-right groups were anywhere to be found.
