On a holy day during the month of Ramadan, a mass shooting in a movie theater has left dozens injured and at least one dead.
The 17th of Ramadan is the most significant battle and victory in the history of Islam, the Battle of Badr, and it falls on June 23 this year. Jihadists would absolutely love to relive this battle, and it appears as if they tried over in Germany, where a man entered a movie theater in the town of Viernheim and took hostages, according to the Gateway Pundit.

“Because the attacker had taken hostages, the special forces moved in on him and he was killed,” Mr. Beuth told the Hesse state legislature.
Authorities at this point say a motive wasn’t clear; however, the attack occurred on Ramadan’s most significant day and at a theater that was playing the American movies “The Jungle Book,” “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” “Angry Birds” and “Central Intelligence,” which could provide insight into the man’s reason for attacking it.
Not much else is known at this time, but we’ll keep you updated if any important information is released about the incident.
