A massive explosion erupted outside of a hotel followed by a group of gunmen battling their way inside of the building, and the situation only appears to be getting worse.
According to Fox News, Islamic militants have detonated a suicide vehicle outside the gate of a Mogadishu hotel, which was followed by a group of heavily armed terrorists trying to fight their way in and seize control of the building. The number of deaths is unknown, but apparently the al-Shabab terrorist group is responsible for the attack.

Fox News has more:
Capt. Ali Ahmed says the suspected al-Shabab extremist group attackers are trying to storm the Nasa-Hablod hotel near the capital’s busy KM-4 junction.
He says guards are still fighting the attackers inside the hotel.
There is no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. The al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabab group has been waging a deadly insurgency across large parts of Somalia and often carries out such attacks.
The attack this morning is very similar to an attack carried out earlier this month, when al-Shabab militants detonated a car bomb outside of the Ambassador Hotel. Fifteen people were killed in the attack, and dozens more were wounded after at least three terrorists stormed the building and took hostages.
Both attacks occurred during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which is notoriously violent in Islamic cultures both here and abroad. In fact, a report from the State Department earlier this month warned that ISIS and other Islamic terror groups are more likely to attack because sacrifices are seen as more sacred during Ramadan.
“According to Islamic practice, sacrifice during Ramadan can be considered more valuable than that made at other times, so a call to martyrdom during the month may hold a special allure to some,” the report said.
It urged American organisations overseas to “remain aware of the persistent threat of attacks, both inspired and directed”.
“The terrorism risk at the moment is generally high,” it warned.
Meanwhile, no such warning has been given to Americans here at home. In fact, Obama and the Democrats refuse to even say “radical Islam,” and we all know how that turned out in Orlando.
So nothing to see here, folks, just the Religion of Peace ™ busy peacing people to death again.
